Websites, apps and AI, built end to end

I’m Ali Aydi, a full-stack and AI engineer in Sfax, Tunisia. I design, build, launch and run websites, web and mobile apps, AI agents and the data pipelines behind them, for businesses in Tunisia, Europe and further afield. You work with the one engineer who takes the project from the first call to the servers it runs on, so nothing gets lost between a designer, a developer and a host.

How a project runs

  1. A first call. You describe what you need. I explain the options in plain language, with what each costs to build and to run, and what I would build first.
  2. A written scope. What will be built, the price, the timeline, and what I will need from you.
  3. Building in short rounds. The work is cut into small tasks you can see and test as they land, and each one is tested before it goes live.
  4. Launch in your name. Domains, hosting, store and business accounts belong to your company, so you own what you paid for.
  5. After launch. Monitoring, updates and backups as a monthly service, or a handover to your own team.

This is how Ahjez went from a client’s idea to a booking platform on the web, the App Store and Google Play, and how Scoop News runs for a journalist who never has to think about a server.

Working with a developer in Tunisia

For a team in Europe, a developer in Tunisia is offshore web development without the time-zone gap. Tunisia is on UTC+1 all year: the same hour as Paris, Berlin and Rome in winter, one hour behind them in summer.

  • Languages: Arabic is my first language; I work in English and French too.
  • Clients so far: businesses in Tunisia (WonderTech, Scoop News) and in Iraq (Ahjez), and my own products: Calculi, used by 151,765 students, and CrocoJobs.
  • Prices: one list per market, not one list converted. Each list is set for where your company is; pick yours on the price table.

Advice before code

Not every problem needs new software. A day of advice can settle which stack to choose, review an app you already have, or decide what to build first. For Ahjez I translated every technical option into cost, risk and time to market, so the client could decide with confidence. Advice is billed at the day rate in the table.

Questions

Are you a freelancer or an agency?

A freelancer: one engineer who designs, builds, launches and runs what you need, so you always talk to the person doing the work. For Scoop News I was the journalist’s whole technical team. Ahjez was built by a team of two, with pull requests and code reviews.

Which currency do I pay in?

The one on your market’s list: Tunisian dinars for clients in Tunisia, euros in Europe, US dollars elsewhere. The lists are not converted from one another; each is set for its market.

What do the prices not include?

Costs paid to other companies: the domain name, hosting, paid APIs and AI usage, and app store fees. They are paid to the providers, in your name.

How do we start?

Send a message with the form on this page, or write to aliayditn02@gmail.com, saying what you need and by when. I reply with my questions, or with a time for a first call.
